자전거수리점이 산내에 생긴지 두달여가 되어갑니다.
그동안 10년도 넘게 안 타서 방치된 자전거를 가지고 오는 분들부터
귀여운 자전거를 끌고 오는 아이들까지
많은 주민들이 자전거 수리점을 찾아주었습니다.
타이어 펑크 수리, 안장 교체, 거치대 장착, 녹 제거, 변속기 수리 등등
자전거 수리 기술자로 가는 입문을 거친 작은학교와 언니네 학생들, 그리고 담당교사 한샘은 조금 더 섬세한 수리공이 되고자 전문 기술자에게 기술 지도를 받기로 했습니다.
마침, 자전거수리점을 찾는 주민들의 발길도 뜸해지고 일거리도 줄어들었거든요.
그래서 기술자를 수소문해 본 결과, 함양에서 자전거 전문샵을 운영하는 이수민 선생님과 연락이 닿게 되었습니다. 이수민 선생님은 MTB타운 함양점을 운영하면서 각종 자전거(산악, 로드, 픽시드, 미니벨로)를 취급하고 수리도 하는 젊은 청년입니다. 이러저러하고 여차저차해서 중급기술 전수를 원한다고 하니 흔쾌히 재능기부 차원에서 산내를 찾아주시기로 했습니다. 월요일 본인의 자전거샵 운영도 잠시 쉰 채...

전문기술인 변속기 장착과 점검, 수리에 필요한 도구 등
자신만의 노하우를 아낌없이 알려주셨습니다.
자전거 대회에도 꾸준히 참여하고 매일 자전거를 1~2시간씩 타는 자전거 매니아, 이수민 선생님은 자전거수리라는 전문기술자로서의 자긍심도 대단했습니다. 천만원 이천만원짜리 자전거를 가지고 와도 자신있게 뜯어서 수리할 수 있기까지 끊임없이 공부하고 기술을 연마해 온 내공이 느껴졌습니다.
한파가 시작된 추운 날씨에도 3시간 동안 밖에서 열강을 해주신 이수민 선생님!
자전거수리점의 어린 기술자들의 갈 길이 멀긴 하지만
오늘 하루 전해들은 귀동냥만으로도 전문가의 세계에 한발 들여놓은 듯 합니다.
